چکیده

Abstract Landslides are one of the most common natural disasters in Indonesia. The Tana Toraja area has not been spared landslides, especially Makale Selatan district. is supply areas for agricultural products South Sulawesi. Therefore it necessary to map landslide-prone support landslide disaster mitigation. This study aims regions and determine factors influencing events Selatan. uses an Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with a weighting factor. parameters, namely; slope, rainfall, land use, soil texture, type, rock formations. results showed that incidence landslides was strongly influenced by highest factor weight 0.410 (Score 41%). Rainfall use same 0.170 17%), then parameters type texture also exact 0.096 (score 9.6%), formation 0.058 5.8%). level 12.46% prone area, 51.72% slightly prone, 25.72%, very 10.11% total area. not-prone village Tiromanda, Lembang Randan Batu. slope parameter influences Land agriculture must be mechanically conserved reduce angle prevent landslides.

GIS-based route planning in landslide-prone areas

Many parts of the world with young mountain chains, such as the Himalayas, are highly susceptible to landslides. Due to general ruggedness and steep slopes, roads provide the only way of transportation and connectivity in such terrains. Generally, landslide hazards are overlooked during route planning. In this study, in a test area in the Himalayas, various thematic layers, viz. landslide distr...
